"Perfectly executed shells, glossy, thin, yet beautifully capped, with no leakage even while the fill is both generous and perfect. The layering is even, its proportions apt. The chai spicing is beautifully balanced and works well with the sweetness of the gentle caramel. The crunch of the biscuits presents a perfect foil to the caramel. The slight bitterness of the chocolate again functions as a counterpoint to the sweetness of the caramel, leaving a very lightly astringent feel on the palate, remarkably uncloying given the generosity of the caramel.
